The following atmospheric conditions are the most important when installing sandwich panels:
In order to prevent damage to high-quality panels, they must be handled carefully. It is recommended that you use clean gloves.
The edges of the panels have a roughness v due to their cutting, so the paint can peel off to the zinc coating when the panels are slid lengthwise. In any place, where the integrity of the color is damaged, the sheet metal begins to corrode faster and the life of the panel is significantly shortened.
Do not suddenly pull the panels out of the package as shown in the diagram below! Pulling and pushing the panel can cause scratches. Grasp both sides and lift by pushing in a transverse direction!
When removing a single panel from a package and hand-carrying it around the job site, be sure to avoid any tilting, bending, or concentrated stress. The panels must be transported vertically.
Make sure that all packages, which have already been opened, are protected from possible damage caused by atmospheric conditions (storms, precipitation, etc.).
Workers' steps can also cause scratches. It is important that the soles of the shoe or boot do not retain small stones, sawdust, etc.
When the panels are installed, cutting may be required on site. In such cases, you must consider the following:
